I believe you'd already know about Indian government's a major tax reform on the changes to GST slabs coming into effect from next week on 22 September 2025 onwards. The GST Council is reducing the number of main GST slabs to only two, which are: 5% and 18%. The existing 12% and 28% GST slabs will be eliminated, effectively reducing prices of several items.

In addition to that, a new 40% GST Slab will be introduced on luxury and some other items. I won't go into details of all these as you can easily find these information on news sites as well as on the government's official GST website.

To reflect the changes and to add the newly introduced slab, I've updated my handy little GST Tools on this site - the GST Calculators : GST Adder and GST Deductor, such that it now includes the ability to calculate for the new 40% GST Slab too.

In addition to that, I've also added the options to calculate for 0.25% and 3% GST slabs, which wasn't there in my previous versions of GST Calculators.

I've retained the options to calculate the earlier existing but now discontinued slabs such as 12% and 28%, just in case you'd require them for earlier calculations or you'd want to compare it with newer slabs or rates. So, for the time being, I haven't removed the options for calculating for the discontinued slabs.

So, check out the updated GST Calculators : GST Adder and GST Deductor and use them for your needs to add or subtract GST.
